Welcome to TLC Simmental Farm
Family-owned since 1944, we specialize in breeding Angus, SimAngus, and Simmental cattle, serving the industry with dedication and expertise. Many of the lineages can be traced back to the origin of the program and are now be combined with fresh genetics to keep improving the quality of the breeding stock.
Our Family Legacy
In 1944, George A Rassenfoss Sr. bought his first Angus cow for his operation in Mount Sterling, KY. It was at this time Heavenhill Angus was launched. In 1963, his son, George A. Rassenfoss Jr, continued his operation, while expanding the herd size in Paris, KY. In 1984, George Jr, son Dennis took over the herd, continuing its progress and forward thinking, which he is still running along with his daughter, Rebecca, and nephew Tom, along with their spouses and children. In 2003, our first SimAngus was born, which was the birth of TLC Simmental Farm. Over the years the herd has maintained the high quality of the Angus breed, while incorporating Simmental into the herd. This shift has revolutionized the quality of replacement animals being offered. At TLC Simmental Farm, we pride ourselves on our rich history and commitment to quality breeding in the cattle industry for generations to come.
